Alphabet is reportedly working on a name for its new tech company, Canyon.
Sources close to the company tell Mashable that the company’s CEO is reportedly Eric Schmidt, and the name is likely to be named Canyon.
Alphabet’s latest financial results are expected to be released on Monday.
The Alphabet-led tech giant is known for its acquisition of companies like Pinterest and Snap Inc. and for its work in autonomous vehicle technology.
The new Alphabet-owned tech company could be a bit of a departure from Alphabet’s previous corporate structure, which has focused more on making acquisitions and launching startups than in providing software.
